The faculty was created as part of UNILAG’s strategic academic restructuring and brings together physical science disciplines and earth sciences in a research-driven environment. We focus on understanding the laws of nature and applying scientific knowledge to real-world problems.
Our scope can be defined as ranging from quantum mechanics and the subatomic world to geological, oceanographic and planetary systems, thereby connecting fundamental scientific theory with practical applications.
