Head of Department - Prof. O.I. Olusola
Olasunkanmi Isaac Olusola is a Professor of Theoretical Physics with focus on synchronization, bifurcation analysis and time series analysis using various nonlinear tools. He had worked extensively on coupled autonomous systems and non-autonomous systems and had applied nonlinear theory to explain dynamics of lower and upper atmosphere. He had published sixty-one publications in revered academic journal both nationally and internationally. He had successfully supervised and co-supervised eight Doctoral Thesis and several M.Sc and B.Sc projects. Prof. Olusola was a lead speaker in many National conferences and had served in various Committees in the University of Lagos since he became a Professor in 2021. He is the current head of Department of Physics (the position he held since August 1, 2023). He is happily married and blessed with three children.
