Personal Statement
I am a Lecturer of inorganic chemistry at the University of Lagos, Nigeria. My research focuses on the discovery of organic, inorganic molecules that are investigated for biochemical and metallodrug interactions towards therapeutic applications; with focus on antibacterial and anti-cancer agents. Presently, we also seek to develop probes using organic Schiff bases for detection of toxic metals in water and environment. My role to be a mentee to young adults is paramount in addition to converting research to product.
