Personal Statement

My research focuses on igneous petrology, petrography, mineralogy, geochemistry, and radiogenic isotopes. I integrate geological field mapping with advanced laboratory analyses and data interpretation to investigate the origin and evolution of magmatic and hydrothermal systems. A central theme of my work is the use of mineral assemblages and geochemical data (major/trace elements and mineral chemistry) to unravel magmatic processes, constrain source characteristics, and understand the factors governing rare-metal enrichment. I am particularly interested in exploring mantle heterogeneity and the role of magmatic differentiation in metal concentration.

My analytical expertise includes the use of instruments such as the optical microscope, Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), Electron Microprobe Analyzer (EPMA), Column Chromatography for isotope separation, Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS), and X-ray Fluorescence (XRF).
