Dr. Tuviere Omeru

My research focuses on understanding linkages between depositional and deformational processes in sedimentary basins. My favorite tools of the trade are detailed geologic field mapping, and subsurface studies using seismic data. Current projects include: hydrocarbon migrations and leakages, the genesis of giant submarine landslides, sedimentary provenance studies and the formations and estimation of gas hydrates.
